Honda SR Project - Spot Robot Replacement
As Honda of the UK Manufacturing Swindon continue to stay on program with their manufacturing process assembly replacement commitment, it ensures the future car manufacturing to remain at their Swindon Plant.
The Project following a difficult civil engineering first Phase which is now complete involves the new installation of some 50 assembly robots, heavy manufacturing plant and equipment. The “SR Install Project” remains on course for commissioning late August 2010.
CDM Services Ltd are very pleased to be part of the Project team fulfilling the role of CDM Coordinator and Project Health & Safety Advisors.

UYT - Weld Cell Relocation Project
UYT Coventry manufactures bespoke component parts for the automotive industry.
The project includes the relocation of Production Facilities, supporting systems and structures within the main factory of – “UYT Limited, Renown Avenue, Coventry”.
The construction work will involve the dismantling of existing fixed welding production plant associated with the manufacture of ‘Body-In-White’ (BIW) components for the automotive sector comprising of transporting and re-installation of the same to alternative locations within the production facility. Duration of the project is approx 20 weeks.
